The entry into force of the VAT Code and the law enacting the Special Consumption Tax, originally scheduled for 1 July 2019, has been officially postponed, as per Provisional Presidential Legislative Decree No. 1/19, of 28 June 2019. The application of VAT and the Special Consumption Tax will be suspended until a new date for their entry into force is approved.
