According to the information posted on the official website of the Senegal 2020 licensing round,  the time period for the submission of bids has been extended once again, with the deadline having moved from 15 December 2020 to 30 May 2021.

In parallel, the formal enactment of critical industry-specific pieces of legislation is expected at any time. These long-awaited statutes will address and define, among other issues, the terms of implementation of the 2019 Petroleum Code and the related Local Content Law, as well as other rules and requirements applicable to activities in the Oil & Gas sector.
