Presidential Decree No. 138/17 was published on 21 May 2017, approving the Statistical Transgression Regulations. These Regulations define statistical transgression as any action or omission leading to a failure to provide statistical information under the rules of the National Statistics System.

The Regulations also set forth general rules on the commencement and processing of statistical transgression proceedings by the National Institute of Statistics or the Central Bank, as applicable. The penalties due for non-compliance with said Regulations vary between AOA 50,000.00 and AOA 5,000,000.00.

This Presidential Decree entered into force on the date of its publication.
