The State of Emergency has just been extended until 10 May 2020 by means of Presidential Decree No. 120/20, of 24 April 2020. The new statute sets out, notably, specific rules and conditions for the operation of commercial establishments and industrial units. As a rule, the reopening of public services will now be permitted subject to the applicable health and biosafety rules as provided for in Presidential Decree 120/20.
