The reserve requirements of the banking financial institutions established in Angola were regulated by means of BNA Instruction No. 5/18, dated 25 May 2018.

This Instruction repealed Instruction No. 06/2017, of 1 December 2017, as well as all regulations inconsistent with its provisions. Instruction No. 5/18 entered into force on 28 May 2018, for the purposes of establishing the reserve base, and its requirements will be effectively enforced from 4 June 2018 onwards.
