Through Regulatory Standard No. 7/25, of 11 August 2025, the Angolan Insurance Regulation and Supervision Agency (Agência Angolana de Regulação e Supervisão de Seguros) (“ARSEG”)) has established new rules for accessing the activity of insurance and reinsurance mediation.

This instrument, applicable to Insurance Agents, Ancillary Insurance Intermediaries, Insurance Brokers, and Reinsurance Intermediaries, defines the conditions and documents required to initiate the registration process with ARSEG, as well as the elements of technical, commercial, administrative, and accounting organization for those engaged in this activity.

This Regulatory Standard came into effect on the date of its publication.
