In the context of revising the regulatory framework applicable to the Insurance Industry in Angola, the National Assembly passed a new Law on Insurance and Reinsurance Activity (Law No. 18/22, of 7July 2022). This statute came into force on 8 July and repealed the previous Insurance Activity Law, approved by Law No. 1/00, of 3 February 2000, and ancillary legislation.
