The Timor-Leste Tax Authorities (ATTL) have recently presented the newest features of its internet site - attl.gov.tl.
 
Up to now, online services exclusively allowed the submission of monthly tax returns (salary tax, withholding tax and services tax) with zero tax assessed or together with bank payments receipts.
 
Besides the submission of monthly tax returns, the ATTL internet site will also allow the submission of annual tax returns for domestic and petroleum taxpayers and the issuance of debt certificates without the need to travel in person to the Tax Authorities office (this last feature already enabled).
 
It is also expected this online interaction to grow in a near future in order to start comprising submission of tax claims before the Appeals Office and also electronic means of tax payment (e-payment).
 
In order to access to these new features taxpayers shall register with the e-services of the ATTL site.
