Sonangol EP recently made public its intention to transfer part of its participating interests in offshore Blocks 20/11 and 21/09 to interested investors.
These Blocks, located in the Kwanza Basin, include the Pre-Salt discoveries Orca and Lontra in Block 20/11, and Mavinga, Cameia and Bicuar in Block 21/09.
For this purpose, Sonangol EP will hold the following ‘data showrooms’, in which relevant technical, legal and contractual information on the abovementioned blocks will be shared:
• From 24 April to 29 June 2018, in Luanda, Angola, at Sonangol EP’s headquarters; and
• From 28 May to 1 June 2018, in Houston, Texas, USA, at a location to be disclosed.
Proposals for purchase of the participating interests in each block shall be addressed to Sonangol EP’s Chairman of the Board of Directors until 31 July 2018.
