On 5 July 2019, the National Bank of Angola (BNA) approved Instruction No. 07/2019, which sets forth new amounts limits for the issuance of cheques, for transactions in the Multicaixa network, and in the Compensation and Settlement System of the Angolan Payments System. This Instruction applies to all financial institutions under the supervision of the BNA.
