Considering that the immigration documents related to the stay of foreigners in Angola was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Angolan Government approved Executive Decree No. 56/21, of 3 March 2021, under which the documents of the foreign citizens absent from the country, expired since 28 February 2020,  notably residence permits, refugee cards, investor visas, work visas, and temporary-stay visas are deemed valid until 30 April 2021. These documents shall be renewed or extended without any penalty as their holders return to Angola.
