On 20 November, the Minister of Finance enacted Executive Decree No. 507/18, which sets forth the procedures and determines the deadline for filing claims on overdue internal debt in respect of the Financial Years from 2013 to 2017.

This statute aims at ensuring greater control and efficiency in handling claims by the State Budget Units and the Ministry of Finance. Accordingly, both resident and non-resident creditors of the State must file their debt claims by 31 January 2019.
