Under BNA Order No. 04/2020, of 28 February 2020, Financial Institutions and companies whose corporate purpose is to recover and manage credit are now obliged to provide the following information to BNA: (i) statements of current or potential credit operations and the relevant risks in respect of liabilities assumed by any natural or legal person; (ii) checks presented for the second time without funds; (iii) guarantees accepted under the terms of BNA Order No. 10/2014, of 10 December 2014; (iv) guarantees and counter-guarantees issued by the Credit Guarantee Fund; (v) guarantees issued by Credit Guarantee Companies; and (vi) other guarantees.

Failure to send updated information and the provision of incorrect information constitute an offense, with the Institutions in question being prevented from accessing CIRC information.
