More relevant, better connected - Miranda's new website goes live

Miranda is pleased to announce the redesign and relaunch of its website www.mirandalawfirm.com. The website has been entirely reconfigured to significantly improve users' browsing experience and to encourage greater interaction with the firm.

The redesign was undertaken by ISOBAR, one of Portugal’s leading digital marketing agencies, and the project is one of the final elements of the integrated communication strategy begun by Miranda in 2016, aimed at better placing the firm in both the national and international context, and building closer proximity to clients and stakeholders alike.

According to Diogo Xavier da Cunha, Miranda's Managing Partner: "2017 is the 30th anniversary of the founding of Miranda & Associados and the relaunch of the website is one of several initiatives planned to celebrate this. The new website has several novel elements, but fundamentally it is designed to underline what is the most striking feature of our firm: its international reach”. Diogo concludes, by stating: "Digital platforms have long ceased to be an alternative communication medium. Websites are these days a compulsory channel and they reveal much about the profile of an organisation, its ambition and how it perceives and relates to its clients. We believe that the new website is an excellent 'business card', which perfectly reflects our culture and the values that support our practice: quality, integrity and innovation".

In addition to a completely redesigned interface, the new Miranda website also includes a number of new functionalities intended to reinforce its relevance and usefulness:

  • At the top of the homepage, the drop down “Choose your market” menu provides instant and detailed information about the various offices that make up the Miranda Alliance, intended to help visitors more immediately understand the network’s areas of expertise and unique geographic coverage;
  • The firm’s deep involvement across the Miranda Alliance countries over the past 30 years has given us unparalleled insight of many jurisdictions, and where clients often otherwise struggle to access substantive legal knowledge. It is this know-how that we regularly share through the various publications we produce and which we have sought to present intuitively through the new website, enabling visitors to access and subscribe to content (by jurisdiction, area of practice and industry) simply via the home page;
  • Finally, much time and effort has been invested in the core functionality of the site, to promote an intuitive and effective navigation whatever the user’s platform – desktop, tablet or mobile.

According to Nuno Frazão, CEO of ISOBAR: "The biggest challenge in the development of a law firm website, in our experience, is to present relevant and useful content alongside practical design. Evidence shows that the more serious an institutional is, the more generic, banal and less relevant their website tends to be. We accepted with tremendous enthusiasm the brief presented by Miranda, which from the outset had very well defined and clear marketing and communications goals. In addition, we greatly enjoyed the challenge they presented to us - to create a contemporary website with a strong graphical component, which had to mirror the unique positioning, experience and expertise of a top tier international law firm. We strongly believe that visitors to the site will find the brief fulfilled".
